Our Story
Frederick Bros. Crematory, Inc. is the only crematory in Jefferson county that is owned and operated by NYS licensed funeral directors. Owned by the Frederick family, the crematory has been serving funeral homes in the Jefferson, St. Lawrence and Lewis Counties since we opened December 24, 1984.
We have performed over 12,000 cremations and currently have two cremation units that are powered by propane and have a standby generator in the event of a power outages.
We pride ourselves on our professionalism and follow written policies approved by the NYS Department of State Division of Cemeteries. We do this to better serve you and your family and to insure the correct identity of your loved one throughout the cremation process.
We are a non-for-profit privately owned registered cemetery that is non-denominational and serves all faiths.
Our crematory has served funeral homes from Massena to Lowville and is open to all New York State registered funeral homes.
