Jeffrey Frederick, a lifelong resident of Theresa, NY is a 1976 graduate of Indian River Central School, Philadelphia NY
and 1978 graduate of SUNY Agricultural & Technical College, Canton, NY, majoring in Mortuary Science.
He is the President of Frederick Bros. Crematory, Inc.
Jeff volunteers with the Theresa Fire Department, and is a past chief. Currently he is also a Commissioner of the Theresa Fire District.
He is also an active member of the Lakeside Lodge #328 IOOF, Redwood, NY.
Julie A. Buckley Frederick

Julie A. Buckley Frederick, a native of Antwerp, NY graduated from Indian River Central School, Philadelphia, NY in 1977,
from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing, Utica, NY in 1980 and SUNY Agricultural & Technical College, Canton, NY
in 1984 majoring in Mortuary Science.
She married Jeffrey Frederick in August 1980.
Julie is a registered nurse and licensed funeral director and currently secretary and treasurer of Frederick Bros. Crematory, Inc.
She served on the board of the New York State Funeral Directors Association for seven years and as secretary of the Jefferson Lewis Funeral Directors Association for many years.
Joy E. Frederick Sedam

Certified Crematory Operator, conducting cremations since 2008
Joy E. Frederick Sedam is the daughter of Jeffrey and Julie Frederick.
She is a lifelong resident of Theresa, NY and graduated from Indian River Central School, Philadelphia, NY in 2003,
SUNY College of Technology at Canton, Canton, NY in 2006 majoring in Mortuary Science, and SUNY at Buffalo,
Buffalo, NY in 2007 majoring in Psychology.
She is Vice President of Frederick Bros. Crematory, Inc.
Joy married Alan G. Sedam in 2011.
She assists at the funeral home when needed and works full time for Jefferson County.
Scott D. Booth

Certified Crematory Operator, conducting cremations since 1994
Scott D. Booth, a native of Philadelphia, NY is a 1989 graduate of Indian River Central School, Philadelphia, NY and 1991 graduate from SUNY College of Technology at Canton, Canton, NY majoring in Mortuary Science.
He has been on the SUNY Canton, Mortuary Science Advisory Board for several years.
Alan G. Sedam
Registered Mortuary Science Student
Certified Crematory Operator, conducting cremations since 2016
Alan Gene Sedam is a 2003 graduate of E.E. Smith High School, Fayetteville, NC and is currently enrolled in
the American Academy McAllister Institute in their Mortuary Science program.
He entered the United States Army in July 2003 and was honorably discharged in November 2010. Alan is a combat veteran.
Alan is a member of American Legion Post #916 in Antwerp.
He married Joy E. Frederick in 2011.
